Dream
I was getting married to this man
whom I don't know. The wedding was happening at night around 11pm. Also
the weather wasn't good; it was raining and snowing at the same time.
My husband (in real life) was near the wedding ceremony, but he didn't
know that I was about to get married again to someone. I was afraid to
tell my husband that I was getting married again.
The weather and time of day indicate a situation which is not altogether
light and happy. Since the masculine side represents the conscious mind...the
mind of the 5 senses, linear thinking, deductive reasoning, judgment and
the power of willful choice.....it stands to reason that it also represents
the "waking", conscious perceptual experience of life.
Rain represents emotion and snow represents slowed down interaction akin
to isolation.
Now the operational environment of this male aspect of mind that
both the old and the new husband represent in the dream is the physical
world which we all operate in while we are awake. So...it would seem to
me that the actual meaning or further meaning of the dream is that you
have "changed" something, or the subconscious is preparing you to expect
a change, in your life...something tangible...physical...not just mental..
So I think that you are being shown in the dream as "marrying" into a
new "circumstance" in your outer life. This could be a "job", a "move",
a new health condition, etc. The fact that you didn't know the man says
that it is something "new" and "unfamiliar".
The fear aspect also is understandable in this context of newness. Most
fear is fear of the unknown. It is given power by the imagination.
