Glass
House Sex
Dream
I dreamed that my significant other
and I were in a glass house with double doors on either side which were
both wide open. I was on one side having sex with someone and she was
on the other side having sex with someone else too!!!! what do glass houses
mean in general also?
In my opinion, houses nearly always represent your mind. Glass doors of
course, would be divisions between parts of it which "communicated" information
through the partition. In this case, visible information. But it is unclear
as to whether you are saying that the doors are between the rooms themselves,
between the rooms and the rest of the house...like a divider hall, or
between the rooms and the outside of the house. This would be important,
especially the latter, since it would indicate inner/mental information
being conveyed to the "outer/physical" world and vice versa. (But it is
likely that you are just being shown how your own mind/self is polarized.)
I think it must be understood that sex, as a fact of our physical world
and a great part of our mental world is also the unifying factor of the
spiritual world as it expresses itself in the duality of the lower two
levels. The only difference being that on the superconscious level there
is no dynamic interplay between the positive/male and the negative/female....because
at this level only a perfect balance of force exists....creating stillness,
no time, and no space. This very important aspect of our physical/mental
lives is actually a "metaphor", as are most events in our lives, for the
"real" life we all exist and have our being within.
Time and space are manifested when this utter stillness is polarized into
opposites. Sex is the symbol used for this divided reality.
Sex is relevant as a metaphor in everything from matter/antimatter to
red/green. Every force has an equal and opposite force. Likewise our own
mental makeup is divided along sexual lines because the Conscious mind
and the Subconscious mind are actually two entirely different pieces of
equipment which one individual operates. They are like a bolt and a nut
(sexual metaphor again) and must work in unison, in perpetually dynamic
tension with each other, to bind the total self together.
The Conscious/male part of the self reasons deductively from facts it
collects from the five senses in linear time. The Subconscious/female
part of the self reasons inductively from conclusions or whole gestalts
of information which it has previously stored in its programmed memory
banks. To be a "fully operational" human being, using all your parts to
their best advantage, you must use both the male and the female parts
of the self/mind in a balanced and appropriate way....the right tool for
the right job...so to speak.
Just as you will find both the physical sensations and the emotional sensations
in human sexual relations, the mind/self makeup also mirrors this. The
Conscious mind operates in the physical world of waking consciousness
and is intimately tied to the 5 physical senses. The Subconscious mind
operates in the mental world of twilight/nighttime consciousness and expresses
its gestaltic, holistic, programmed awareness through the mechanism of
emotional reaction.
Dreams come through this Subconscious mechanism. Whether they are caused
by Conscious/Physical things, Subconscious/Mental things, or Superconscious/Spiritual
things doesn't seem to matter much, as far as I can tell. They must filter
"down" to our Conscious awareness "through" the Subconscious, as emotion
laden images we call dream symbols.
I'm convinced that the gestaltic knowledge of everyone's Subconscious
is fully aware of the metaphoric relation of sex to the mind/self's actual
operational makeup and constantly uses this to try to show us things about
our Selves.
I have found that a man and a woman making love in a balanced way in dreams
indicates a harmony between the outer waking life and the inner emotional
life. I've also noticed, in general, that two women making love represents
a double hit on the emotional side and two men making love represents
a double hit on the physical side of life. In dreams, these latter symbols
would represent an imbalance of being either too emotional or habitual
....or too physical or rational. One is female, the other male.
All of this is not to say that the dream might not have any outer life
significance related to "real" sex, or even secondary metaphoric relationships
involving some form of positive/negative tension. I've found that everything
in dreams has a reflection in the outer life and that is the great value
that dreams have to us. When you can learn to "read" your dreams, then
you can start to "read" these same symbols operating in your waking life.
This is what I call the LifeDream concept. If you learn the symbols that
your subconscious mind uses to experience and communicate its reality
with, I think you will find, as I did, that they are ONE.
Your dream is showing you a simple view of this.
