These
symbols and meanings are taken from a variety of sources but primarily
from my own dreams and the dreams of associates. You must take into account
the probability that some of these might be my own personal symbols which
have been substituted for the universal or cultural symbols. This is caused
by having a life experience with something which becomes more powerful
in your subconscious memory banks than the universal symbol being given
it by the superconscious. I have tried my best to sort my symbols into
universal and personal symbols and hope that I have made at least a good
start on it. But you must test them on your own dreams to see if
they make natural common sense in the context of the dream. My advice
is to never accept an interpretation...even from yourself...until you
are sure that you have arrived at the correct meaning. Universal Symbols
Zero = The circle, the superconscious mind before creation of the other two levels and the material world. Perfection and complete in itself. The Divine. No beginning and no end. Its form (o) represents eternity. One = The first created, the beginning, the ego, the self conscious mind, the masculine or positive principle. It form ( | ) is the straight line representing time and space or the conscious mind. Two = The superconscious and the conscious become two separate entities with two. This represents the subconscious mind or the intermediary between the two. As a bridge connects two lands. Physical life counterpoised against spiritual life. The feminine or negative principle. Its form ( 2 ) is a combination saying half divine or spirit above the conscious world of time and space. Three = The trinity. All 3 levels of the mind. A completion of creation. The solution of the conflict between the one and the two. Its form ( 3 ) denotes the making of the subconscious in the same pattern as the spiritual or superconscious thereby bringing the perfect spirit pattern into time and space as matter. Four = Composed of straight lines only. The number of reason and tangibility in matter. Symbolizes the earth or terrestrial space. In form ( 4 ) it is a triangle and a cross. Triangle is the trinity of mind and the cross represents man upright. He is holding up the Divine triangle. Five = The number of incompletion, testing and imperfection. The individual living by the five senses of the conscious mind alone but being supported automatically by the subconscious. The form ( 5 ) signifies this by the semicircle (subconscious) holding up the straight line (conscious). Six = The symbol of accomplishment, growth and completion of creation. The Sixth Day. In form ( 6 ) it represents consciousness being upheld by the superconscious. Exactly one step up the evolutionary ladder from five where the subconscious is doing the holding up. Seven = Perfection, authority, completeness and consummation. In form ( 7 )it is fallen man, the horizontal line, upheld by risen man, the vertical line. Eight = Balance. Infinity symbol of mathematics. ( 8 ) Symbol of regeneration and resurrection. The entrance of the soul into a new state. It is the two serpents on the caduceus representative of the positive and negative currents of Kundalini or spiritual energy. The eighth sign of the zodiac is Scorpio. I believe it also denotes a time of testing. Nine = Truth. The height of the soul. The end of the cycle. Number of the initiate. The soul has survived the tests of 8 and has become indestructible. (9 when multiplied by any other number always adds up numerologically to 9). The soul set free of its prison. In form ( 9 ) it is the now fully conscious mind holding up (or manifesting) the superconscious mind on the earth. Ten = Union. The upright conscious and the superconscious are equal and harmonized to the pattern of the universal. This is the marriage of heaven. In form (1O) the conscious upright mind and the superconscious are equalized and balanced. The union of opposites side by side. The spirit has become fully conscious and the conscious has become full spiritualized. Eleven = Mastery of the Physical Twenty Two =Mastery of the Mental Thirty Three = Mastery of the Spiritual Twelve
= Qualities or states of the soul in its complete development. The zodiac,
the 12 tribes of Israel and the Twelve Disciples and 12 months of the
year relate to this. Each one has a characteristic which is necessary
for complete development. There are supposed to be 12 major bodies (planets)
in our solar system also. Scientists are currently searching for the 12th
as our world is entering the end of the last age of development before
the Millennium. DreamWorks
